WATER LEAK? (Please Read)

DO YOU HAVE A WATER LEAK? Locate the shut off valve. And turn the valve to shut off the water immediately. After you have it shut off. Call a plumber from below and call the landlord or emergcy contact.

Shut off valve locations in the house:

Westlock - The interior water shut off valve is in the master bedroom, in the closet by the floor. Turn that.

Also, there's also an exterior shut off located on the east side of the house. Requires the removal of the access panel. Then it's about 1meter in on the water line (under the insulation covering the pipe). There's a green valve to turn the water off.


Edmonton, Alberta - (Millwoods) The interior shut off valve is in the master bedroom, in the closet, by the hot water tank. There's a small valve. Turn that.

Also, there's also an exterior shut off located under the house. Requires the removal of the access panel. Going under about 4 meters forward, and another 5 meters to the right (east). There's the water line coming out of the ground. There's a valve on the line closer to the ground that can be shut off. There's a red valve to turn the water off.


Vimy - The interior valve is in the bathroom, along the wall next to the washer (behind the old water softener) There's a large yellow or red valve. You can't miss it. Turn that 90 degrees to turn off the water to the house.

Redwater - The water shut off valve is in the master bedroom (far back room); located beside the hot water tank in the corner.
 

Electrical Issue: First, see if there's an outage in the area. If not, then check the breaker box. Make sure all the breakers are in the "on" position. If a breaker is tripped then it might be torwards "on" but slightly off. (not fully over). So turn it fully off first. Then turn that breaker switch back to "on". If that still doesn't work then call the landlord and or an electrician, some are listed on the right.
